The Zentangle® Method is an easy to learn and a fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. These patterns are called tangles. Zentangle® was found by a monk Rick Roberts & an artist Maria Thomas in USA which is why it’s a mix of Meditation (Zen) & Creation (Tangle).

 

Zentangle is known for its endless benefits such as increasing focus, creativity, relaxation and the fact that it’s an extremely forgiving art form as it requires no prior experience and no age limit.

 

The founders believe that life is an art form and Zentangle is an elegant metaphor for deliberate artistry in life. They also believe that “Anything is possible one stroke at a time.”®

Workshop Specific Details

    • Participants should have:
      • 1 Black fine tip pen (preferably 0.25mm nib size/Pigma Micron 01);
      • 2 white 3.5″ square paper tiles (preferably watercolour paper 300 gsm or higher);
      • 1 blending stump/earbud;
      • 1 graphite pencil;

  • Learn the important components of Zentangle;
  • Learn the basic steps of Zentangle; 
  • Learn 7-8 new tangles;
  • Create 2 tiles during the session;
  • And finally get a certificate of completion!

Other Important Points

  • Participants under the age of 16 must have a parent or guardian nearby to help them out if needed;
  • You will require a laptop with a functional microphone and webcam to join the webinar. If you intend to join on your mobile, you will need to download the free Google Meet app;
  • You must have a good WiFi speed of at least 5 Mbps. A 4G connection will not suffice!
  • Process: After you have purchased your ticket, you will be sent a calendar invite for the webinar within a day. This calendar invite will be sent on the same email id as you have used while purchasing the ticket. Please do remember to RSVP! On the Friday prior to the webinar, you will be added to a WhatsApp group created for the webinar to facilitate communications;
  • Please note that Bodhiroom only refunds the ticket price in case of cancellation on part of the organiser. There is no refund in case the participant is unable to attend and no possibility of re-using the ticket for another workshop;
