Learning Story – Upasna
I am a creative soul who landed in engineering college because her parents wanted her to. Subsequently I entered the corporate world for the same reason. Cities changed, my status changed but my soul wasn’t satisfied. My job was helping me afford an expensive lifestyle but my soul was seeking something else. To find my path, I took a break from the corporate world to slow down and after a few months, I started my podcast to share my experiences about the kind of lifestyle which I had been following and loving for the previous 3 years, that of a Minimalist Lifestyle.
Minimalism is not a new age fad but a lifestyle which pulls us out from the whirlpool of over-consumption. It’s all about choosing intentionally whether that’s things, people, work or food. The point is that whatever we choose should not become a source of distraction or worry in our life.
We all need to explore a Minimalist lifestyle irrespective of who we are and where we’re based.
Some questions you should ask yourself before considering Minimalism are:
Do you have a lot to do but feel distracted all the time?
Do you wish to find time for your passion?
Do you feel your house is cluttered?
Do you want to get rid of excessive stuff but don’t know how?
Do you want to learn the art of saying no?
If the answer to any of the above question is ‘yes’, then Minimalism is for you.
This lifestyle has helped me find time for my passion, helped me to explore the other side of financial freedom and helped me learn how to say no to the unwanted.
I have transitioned from a person who used to look out for “what to buy next” to a person who now thinks “what to do next”. Moreover, a Minimalist lifestyle has helped me to choose sustainable options because what is good for our planet is obviously good for our bodies.
The first thing anyone needs to do before embarking on this journey is to find out their “Why” and being a Minimalist Coach I help others in finding this Why. I help others in shifting their focus towards more important things in their life.
Let me make this journey smoother for you by helping you with step-by-step guidance and transitioning.
