The fear of public speaking or colloquially ‘stage fright’ is something that impacts the lives of many people world over. There are thousands of videos and articles about fighting this fear, which in a way reveals the scale of the issue. However, most of these articles recommend things like ‘prepare for the speech as much as you can to feel confident.’ This video is one of the few that we found that was contrarian and focused on the mind-habit link. For example it looks at ‘over-preparation’ as a possible issue because perhaps your brain has been wired to associate preparation with the fear of public speaking which makes things worse.
