Sakshamjeet Singh
Hi, I'm Sakshamjeet Singh. I'm a certified Art Therapy practitioner, a self taught artist, and also worked with the psychology research team of Yale university. I've toiled around with different mediums along the way, be it dry pastels, oil pastels, oil paints, acrylic, or even pencils.. but the one I connect with is the transparent photo-colors and ink colors. I have always been intrigued by colors and art, and the psychology of human brain. "An interesting combination of unusual pairing" as people say. As a child, I often questioned myself "why people act differently" "what are they thinking" "how're they feeling" "what is making them act like they are". To understand better I started to research and study about human nature and behavior, and how our subconscious mind is affected, how does it work. After 5+ years of studying human nature, and painting, I drew an interesting relation between how deeply colors affect us. This depth and relation of colors with the subconscious mind is way deeper than one may think or even realize. Each color has its connotation and it's importance in our lives, each color affects us in a different way. It holds the power to mold your character over time, and how some combinations of colors when inculcated into our lives may do wonders to such profound extent, which is fascinating.. Just by using some basic techniques and choosing colors consciously, and a pinch of awareness of self, life can be turned around for good! Good day and a good life.
